Recruitment Events Seek Substitutes, Educational Aides, and Home Visitors

Recruitment Event

Job seekers looking for positions as educational aides, preschool aides, substitute teachers, and home visitors are invited to job fairs at the YMCA and MCCTC.

The Mahoning Valley Regional Council of Governments (MVRCOG) is recruiting positions for local school districts, valley preschools, and for the Help Me Grow program in Mahoning and Portage counties.

The MVRCOG manages a substitute teacher consortium, filling substitute teaching positions in 8 local schools including Austintown, Boardman, Campbell, Canfield, MCCTC, Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio preschool classrooms, Poland, and Struthers. Substitute teachers through the MVRCOG consortium are notified of openings in any of the serviced districts in which the substitutes are interested in working, providing a larger number of opportunities for work.
