Over the course of five sessions following the Thinking Like a Lawyer: A Framework for Teaching Critical Thinking to All Students by Colin Seale, Book Study participants will identify and describe multiple critical thinking strategies to foster equity for diverse learners, promote achievement of student potential, and embed best practices for critical thinking in student learning opportunities. This community of learners will process and reflect on a wide variety of concrete instructional strategies and examples that they can use in all grade levels and subject areas.

Intended Audience: K-12 Teachers
Participants can complete five virtual 1.5 hour sessions for a total of 7.5 hours. Applications after sessions 2, 3, 4, and 5 provide a total of up to 12.5 Gifted hours for all sessions and application workshop. Use Google Workspace as collaborative.
Books will be free to the first fifty registered participants from Member Districts. Attendance at sessions is required for individuals receiving a free copy of the book. Participants from non-member districts will need to acquire their own copy of the book.
No cost for Aligned Member Districts | $125 per person, for the series, for Non-Member Districts.
